Anna Birawi is an Associate Editor at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research. She received her BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Nottingham and MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS (University of London). Her research interests include faith formation in the western world and the often-precarious relationship between religious values, social justice, and lived philosophies. For the past 10 years, Anna has worked as a non-fiction editor and writer for various publishers, museums, think-tanks, and news outlets.
